I am a father of 12. 10 girls, and all the rest are boys. My wife and I have homeschooled our children, and wanting each one of them to discover their own creative gifts, we encouraged them to start and run businesses of their own before graduating high school. In fact, we made it a requirement, giving them the confidence to use their own creative skills to create income for themselves, rather than leaving them to feel dependent on an employer. A number of the kids are still in school, but some of them are out on their own now, and as a result of this learning experience, many of them are self-employed.
